Analysing children and young people’s local transformation plans (LTPs)
Our team was appointed by NHS England to conduct a national review and analysis of the LTPs for children and young people’s mental health services. The plans were submitted by local areas as part of a five year transformation in services. They outline the local multi-agency responses to the priorities set out in Future in Mind. A total of 123 plans were submitted, along with more than 1,000 supporting documents.
We analysed 123 plans and over 1,000 supporting documents
We are providing expert support in the following areas:
A quantitative review of the plans analysing key data points, including prevalence of conditions, activity, expenditure and workforce
A qualitative review of the plans covering the seven key areas of prevention, eating disorders, vulnerable groups, participation, whole system, outcomes and workforce;
An analysis of the data relating to KPIs and outcomes
A presentation of the information to key stakeholders
A series of recommendations derived from our analysis
Our team have presented the findings of the reports at a number of national multi-agency boards and at the national Future in Mind Conference to more than 400 delegates in the children and young people’s mental health space.
The analysis is central to future recommendations and policy developments in children and young people’s mental health.
