When we began working with our customer, a CCG, they had amalgamated a large number of diverse data indicators. This left clinicians with a number of different views of the data .

We took a framework that had been predetermined locally and used a wide range of datasets to summarise around 50 indicators. These covered secondary care use, access to GPs, disease prevalence and staffing levels. We developed bespoke dashboards and applied statistical analysis to make the information easier to understand.

Our analysis provided insight into issues that were already known about locally, giving a comprehensive and easily understood evidence base. This was used to improve efficiency by leveraging the current staffing to meet growing demand.

It informed and helped to shape the CCG’s primary care strategy, alerting working groups to the areas they needed to focus on. Our skilled analysts used their access to a wide variety of data to create bespoke solutions for the CCG.
