“I really enjoy working at NEL. Having been in the Design Solutions team for over three years now, I can whole-heartedly say that the variety of projects I work on really keeps my focus and drive.
As a whole team, we always aim to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients. Whether it’s a social media campaign, an animation, printed collateral, digital assets or a branding task – there is always something creative to work on.
Out of everything we do, I am always most proud to work on the projects that influence a younger audience. One example is the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Health passport and sexual health leaflet. Its purpose is to help young people arriving in the UK who have to navigate a new health system and talk to unfamiliar people (when English may not be their first language). The leaflets operate as a guide for young people to learn about both general health and sexual health, helping them make informed decisions and ultimately empower them to keep safe and well.
The challenge for me was to make it accessible to different ages, in multiple languages and for diverse backgrounds while conveying all the key points in an easy to digest format. A really great project to be involved in, and something I will always be proud of.”
